The Place
The village where it all began.
Dagali is a small mountain village at 860 metres elevation in Numedal, Norway. It is the kind of place that most people pass through without stopping — but those who stop discover something rare: a quietness that feels intentional. Red farmhouses against white snow. Smoke rising from chimneys. Frost on the kitchen window in the morning. This is where Rooted Roast was born.


The Coffee
Catuai, Catura · Costa Rica, Naranjo
From the Naranjo Valley in Costa Rica's Western Valley — a washed Catuai and Catura from La Isla Farm, cultivated at 1,560 metres above sea level. Scored 83.5 by the SCA, harvested November to February. Dried fruit sweetness, rich cane sugar, and a long, clean finish. A coffee that carries warmth from the tropics to the Norwegian mountains.
