The Place
Where winter feels like home.
Geilo sits between mountains — a place that belongs fully to winter. The ski tracks begin at the edge of town and run into the wilderness. The light goes early and stays low. In February, the sky turns lilac at 3pm. People gather inside. The fire is always going. Geilo has a depth to it that you don't find in busier places.
The Coffee
Catuai / Pacas · Honduras & Costa Rica
A blend of three origins, built for depth and warmth. 40% Honduras Las Calaveras — a natural Catuai from Montecillos, La Paz, grown at 1,450–1,600 metres. SCA score 84.5, harvested January to April. Ripe stone fruit, dark chocolate, and weight in the cup. The backbone.
40% Honduras Las Delicias — a honey-processed Pacas from the same mountain region, at 1,550–1,650 metres. SCA score 84.75, harvested December to March. White grape, nectarine, a lift of red berries. It softens the darkness.
20% Costa Rica La Isla — a washed Catuai/Catura from Naranjo, Western Valley, at 1,560 metres. SCA score 83.5, harvested November to February. Dried fruits, cane sugar, a clean and rounded finish. It ties all three together.
The result is a coffee that mirrors Geilo itself — dark, layered, and deeply satisfying.
